The VERITAS consortium had a 3 days project meeting in Turin (Orbassano), Italy at CRF (Centro Ricerche Fiat S.C.p.A.) on 14-16 December 2011. CRF is the Industrial research centre of the Fiat Group, specialized in the automotive environment.
Focus of the meeting was on finalising the virtual user models, the creation of the interaction tools for designers/developers, development of the VERITAS embedded design tools, and preparing for the pilot phases in 2012 and 2013.

VERITAS technical partners have organised a technical integration week in Trento (Italy) from 18-22 July 2011 at the premises of the Technical University of Trento. The meeting will be used to integrate a variety of sensors, and establish the VERITAS multisensorial platform, as well as undertake the first measurements.

The next project meeting will take place in Nottingham, UK  on 23-24 September 2011.

The fifth VERITAS Plenary Meeting will take place in Santorini, Greece, on 6-8 June 2011.

The fourth VERITAS Plenary Meeting took place in Basel, Switzerland on 14-16 March 2011 at the premises of UPK/COAT-Basel.

The project organised its 4th Plenary Meeting in Prague, Czech Republic, at the Czech technical University of Prague on 1-3 December 2010.

This meeting was combined with the 1st International User forum and Workshop on 29 and 30 November 2010.

Minutes of the 2 events will be available shortly, together with the presentations (workshop).

The forthcoming VERITAS plenary meeting will be hosted by FORTH in Heraklion, Crete, Greece on 6-8 September 2010.

On 28-29-30 April 2010, VERITAS’ 2nd project meeting took place  in Stuttgart, Germany. This was coinciding with the VUMS project cluster event on the 28th that included participants from the VERITAS, the VICON, MyUI and GUIDE project. The participants (coordinators) agreed on collaborations between the projects, and on future joint efforts. All projects work on improving the accessibility of various products and application areas, taking into account various impairments.

The VERITAS kick-off meeting took place in Stuttgart (Germany) on 11-12 January 2010 with the entire partnership. It was organised at Fraunhofer premises.
